72 Inch Electric Fireplaces

A 72 inch electric fireplace fills a feature wall without overwhelming a small room. The seven models available at this width split mainly by how they mount and how deep they sit in the wall, which usually settles the fit faster than price does.

Wall mount or built-in, and how deep

The Sierra Flame WM-FML-STL is the only wall mount or flush mount option at 72 in, with a 6 1/8 in firebox depth, the shallowest build in the group. Among the Amantii built-ins, the Panorama BI Slim holds to 6.75 in deep, the Panorama BI Deep runs 12 in deep, and the Panorama BI Deep XT adds height, at 29.5 in tall on a 12.625 in depth. For a fireplace meant to be seen from more than one side, the TruView line uses three-sided glass: the TruView Slim at 10.625 in deep, the TruView XL Deep at 14.25 in deep, and the TruView XT XL at 13.75 in deep with a 22 in tall viewing area.
