Orivon Lumin vs Sunlighten infrared saunas: size, heaters, power and warranty compared
Orivon and Sunlighten both build home infrared saunas, but they reach a buyer through different paths and publish different specification sheets. Orivon's Lumin line is sold through Hogarazo, an authorized Orivon dealer in the Chicago area that ships to the 48 contiguous states with curbside liftgate delivery included on every unit. Sunlighten sells its mPulse, Amplify and Signature lines direct from its own site. This guide lines up what each company states on its own pages: capacity, footprint, heater technology, power requirement, wood, controls, warranty, and how the order actually reaches a home.
Models and capacity
Orivon's Lumin line is three fixed sizes. The Lumin One is built for one to two people. The Lumin Two is a two-person cabin. The Lumin Three seats three, which the Hogarazo page describes as a spacious interior for two adults with room to stretch out. All three list on Hogarazo's home saunas collection with the manufacturer's advertised price shown on the page.
Sunlighten's comparison table lists four cabin sauna collections, mPulse, Amplify RED, Amplify and Signature, alongside a portable Solo System. This guide covers the three cabin lines Sunlighten compares most directly: mPulse, Amplify and Signature. Its site offers a capacity filter spanning 1-person through 5-person across those lines, and each line covers more than one size: mPulse includes the Aspire, Believe, Conquer, Discover and Empower models; Amplify includes the II, III and IV; Signature includes the I and II (Signature III and IV appear only as legacy documents in Sunlighten's guides section). Sunlighten states the Aspire and the Signature I are 1-person cabins and the Amplify II is a 2-person cabin; exact capacity for the larger named models in each line is confirmed on the individual model page rather than the line overview page.
Footprint and materials
Hogarazo's Orivon pages publish exterior dimensions directly. The Lumin One measures 47 in deep by 39 in wide by 75 in high (120 by 100 by 190 cm) and weighs 725 lb. The Lumin Two page states assembled dimensions of 47 in deep by 41 in long by 75 in high. The Lumin Three measures 47 in deep by 60 in wide by 75 in high (120 by 152 by 190 cm) and weighs 1,250 lb. All three are built from Canadian hemlock. The Lumin One and Lumin Three pages describe the construction as having a natural, low-odor finish.
Sunlighten's mPulse and Amplify lines use eucalyptus wood framing the company describes as sustainably sourced, and its Signature line is also built with eucalyptus. Sunlighten's three line pages do not list exterior dimensions by model. Each model has its own downloadable spec sheet, available through Sunlighten's guides and specs section or a pricing request, where the exact footprint for the chosen size is confirmed.
Heater technology
The Lumin One, Two and Three all use far-infrared electric heating. Hogarazo's product pages do not state a specific heater count for any of the three models.
Sunlighten's three lines use different heater setups. Signature uses far-infrared heat only, through what Sunlighten calls its SoloCarbon heater technology. Amplify uses full-spectrum infrared, blending near-, mid- and far-infrared wavelengths through SoloCarbon heaters, and Sunlighten states the Amplify is engineered to reach 170 degrees in ideal conditions. mPulse uses what Sunlighten calls its PulseIQ platform, separating and controlling red light along with near-, mid- and far-infrared wavelengths individually rather than blending them. None of the three Sunlighten line pages state an exact heater count per model either.
Power requirement
The Lumin One and Lumin Three pages describe the units as standard U.S. 110 to 120 V, and Orivon specifies a dedicated 20 amp circuit, with an optional 220V modification available by request. The Lumin Two page states the same baseline, 110V standard with 220V available by request only, without listing a specific amperage or plug type. The Lumin One page also asks the buyer, before ordering, to confirm the doorway, floor and dedicated circuit with a qualified local installer or licensed electrician where required.
Sunlighten's warranty page sets a different baseline: the sauna must be plugged directly into the required dedicated electrical wall outlet, and using a power strip, extension cord or converter is prohibited, which Sunlighten states voids the warranty. Sunlighten publishes voltage by collection: Signature at 120V, and mPulse and Amplify at 120V or 240V depending on the model. Both brands point the buyer at an electrician: Sunlighten's warranty requires a dedicated outlet, and Hogarazo's Lumin pages ask the buyer to confirm the dedicated circuit before ordering.
Controls and features
The Lumin One and Lumin Three pages list a digital control panel for temperature and session time, plus a ventilation window for airflow during a session. The Lumin Two page does not describe its controls. Hogarazo's pages do not describe app or Wi-Fi connected controls for the Lumin line.
Sunlighten's lines add chromotherapy lighting across the range. Amplify's page lists a sound system alongside the lighting. Signature's page lists a Blaupunkt sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
Warranty
Hogarazo's Orivon product pages state a one-year Orivon warranty with Orivon after-sales support, with Hogarazo as the single point of contact on the order; the Lumin Two page states the one-year supplier warranty is administered directly with the end customer, with Orivon administering verified damage or defect claims. The Lumin Two page also asks that any shipping damage or defect be reported within seven days of delivery; non-defective sales are final.
Sunlighten's published residential warranty runs longer and splits coverage by component: seven years on cabinetry and heaters, three years on controls, and one year on glass doors and audio. That warranty is voided under stated conditions, including if the sauna is not on a dedicated electrical outlet, if it sits closer than five feet to a water source such as a cold plunge or shower, or if an outdoor unit is not covered with the specified protective sheet. Coverage also ends if the sauna changes ownership; it is written for the original purchaser only.
How each is sold: lead time and delivery
Hogarazo sells the Lumin line as an authorized Orivon dealer. Orivon saunas run on a separate production timeline from the fireplace lines Hogarazo carries and deliver in 15 to 30 business days. Curbside liftgate delivery is included on every unit to the 48 contiguous states, and Hogarazo's pages note that carry-in and assembly are not included; installation and electrical work are the buyer's responsibility. Hogarazo offers English and Spanish support by phone or text.
Sunlighten sells direct from its own site. Its shipping page states saunas ship in two to three large boxes weighing 130 lb or more each, arrive in the buyer's local area 12 to 15 business days from the ship date, and are then scheduled for local delivery, typically to the garage where the site allows, since Sunlighten states the sauna is left on a pallet and cannot be transported up steps. Assembly is the buyer's responsibility; Sunlighten recommends at least two people to unpack and assemble the panels, more for larger units.

Who each suits
The Lumin line suits a buyer who wants a published price and on-page specifications, 110 to 120 V power on a dedicated 20 amp circuit, and delivery handled by a single dealer that also carries the Amantii and Sierra Flame fireplace lines for the same room. The widest Lumin, the Lumin Three, is 60 in wide. A buyer who wants the option of red light alongside separately controlled infrared wavelengths, a five-person cabin size, or is set on Sunlighten's specific full-spectrum heater configuration should compare mPulse or Amplify directly against Sunlighten's own published specifications and request pricing from Sunlighten.
A buyer already set up for a dedicated electrical circuit, who wants the longer stated warranty term on cabinetry and heaters, and is comfortable ordering direct from the manufacturer and coordinating shipment and assembly with the carrier, is well served by Sunlighten. A buyer who wants a local point of contact for delivery and warranty questions, a 110 to 120 V standard configuration on a dedicated 20 amp circuit, and a dealer that also carries the Amantii and Sierra Flame electric fireplace lines will find the Lumin line through Hogarazo a good fit.
Your next step
Room dimensions, doorway width, ceiling height and electrical setup all affect which Lumin size actually fits a given space. Hogarazo's free sauna project fit review checks floor space, ceiling height, doorway clearance, electrical status (standard outlet or dedicated circuit) and ventilation before an order is placed, and returns a documented space and access brief, a checklist of the facts still missing, and source-backed options once the exact model is bound to current documents and terms. Hogarazo does not perform electrical work, site inspections or code determinations.
