Amantii vs Napoleon electric fireplaces: Trivista, Entice and Astound compared
If you are cross-shopping Amantii against Napoleon, this guide lines up the specifications that actually decide an installation: width, depth, heat output on 120V versus 240V, flame and ember media, controls, three-sided options and warranty. Hogarazo is an authorized Amantii, Sierra Flame and Orivon dealer in the Chicago area shipping to the 48 contiguous states, so the Amantii figures below are pulled from Amantii's own product pages and from Hogarazo's listings. The Napoleon figures are pulled directly from napoleon.com.
A note on the Napoleon lineup
One thing worth knowing before you compare: Napoleon's current U.S. site no longer lists an "Alluravision" series. This guide compares four of Napoleon's current electric series: the Trivista Primis and Trivista Pictura series for three-sided viewing, the Entice series for wall-hung or recessed single-sided units, and the Astound series, which comes in three depth styles: Built-In, FlexMount (1, 2 or 3-sided) and SlimMount. Napoleon lists other current electric series as well. Those four series are compared here against Amantii's Panorama BI XtraSlim, Panorama BI Deep, SYMMETRY Bespoke and TruView Bespoke.
Widths, depth and heat output side by side
The table below lists every line by its published width range, depth and heat output. Amantii figures are from amantii.com; Napoleon figures are from the specification tab on each series page at napoleon.com/en/us.
| Line | Brand | View type | Widths | Depth | Heat output | Warranty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trivista Primis | Napoleon | 1, 2 or 3-sided (end panels included) | 50 in, 60 in | 9.50 in | 10,000 BTU on the model spec sheet (also listed as up to 3,000 W in the series feature list); hardwire to 120V or 240V | 2-year limited |
| Trivista Pictura | Napoleon | 3-sided, wall-hanging profile | 50 and 60 models (49.25 in, 59.25 in actual width) | 6.50 in | 5,000 BTU | 1-year limited |
| Entice | Napoleon | Single-sided, wall-hung or recessed | 36, 42, 50, 60, 72 in | 5.44 in | 5,000 BTU (1.47 kW) on 120V for the 36, 42, 50 and 72 in models; the 60 in model is rated 10,000 BTU (3 kW) | 2-year limited |
| Astound (Built-In / FlexMount / SlimMount) | Napoleon | Single-sided (Built-In, SlimMount) or 1, 2, 3-sided (FlexMount) | 42 to 96 in depending on style | 4 in framing depth on SlimMount (Napoleon's SlimMount product page says "At just 4 inches deep"; its specification tab lists 7.19 in) to 13.38 in (Built-In); FlexMount is 7 to 7.5 in | 10,000 BTU (3 kW) across every size on the spec sheet | 5-year limited (Built-In, SlimMount) or 3-year limited (FlexMount) |
| Panorama BI XtraSlim | Amantii | Single-sided | 30, 40, 50, 60 in | 4 in | Up to 5,000 BTU / 1,465 W on a 120V circuit | Two-year manufacturer warranty |
| Panorama BI Deep | Amantii | Single-sided | 40, 50, 60, 72, 88 in | 12 in (30.48 cm) | Up to 5,000 BTU on a 120V circuit | Two-year manufacturer warranty |
| SYMMETRY Bespoke | Amantii | Single-sided built-in, recessed or semi-flush | 34, 42, 50, 60, 74, 88, 100 in | 6.46 in (Hogarazo listed overall dimensions) | Up to 1,500 W / 4,095 BTU as Hogarazo lists it (Amantii's series page states up to 1,465 W / 5,000 BTU) | Five-year manufacturer parts warranty |
| TruView Bespoke | Amantii | 3-sided, modular units connect together | 45, 55, 65, 75, 85 in | 15 in deep; 20 in glass viewing height | 1,465 W / 5,000 BTU on 120V; the 55, 65, 75 and 85 in models add a 240V option rated at 10,000 BTU | Five-year manufacturer parts warranty |
A few things stand out. Both brands offer a slim single-sided option built for a 4-inch framing depth: Napoleon's Astound SlimMount and Amantii's Panorama BI XtraSlim, which measures 4 in deep. Amantii's Panorama BI Deep, at 12 inches, is shallower than Napoleon's Astound Built-In at 13.38 inches, and runs a lower published heat output (5,000 BTU on 120V versus 10,000 BTU / 3 kW on the Astound spec sheet). Amantii's SYMMETRY Bespoke spans 34 to 100 inches, a wider range than Entice's 36 to 72 inches.
Flame, ember bed and media
Napoleon's Trivista series lists up to seven flame color settings on Primis and includes 13-color ember bed and top-light settings; Pictura ships with a crystal ember bed and five included large crystal accents, plus optional birch or driftwood log sets. Entice lists 10 flame color options and 10 LED ember bed colors, with a nearly frameless glass front and included crystal media. Astound uses what Napoleon calls spark technology on its orange and yellow flame colors, a flip-down glass front on Built-In units for changing media, and 13 standard ember bed and top-light color options.
Amantii's Panorama BI XtraSlim includes clear decorative glass media with 11 colors of canopy and ember bed lighting. Panorama BI Deep ships with an ICE media set and an 11-piece log set, with 11 lighting colors and a choice of two flame pattern styles. SYMMETRY Bespoke offers two flame patterns (standard and realistic) and crackling fire sounds sampled from real fires through its built-in speakers. TruView Bespoke adds adjustable flame brightness and speed with driftwood, rustic, birch, split and oak log sets and ICE media offered as media options, across its three-sided glass.
Controls
Both brands put the fireplace on a phone. Napoleon's Astound series works with the Napoleon Home app and with Google Home or Alexa voice control, plus an included remote and an optional wall-mounted remote; Trivista Primis and Entice use a touch panel and included remote with thermostatic control; Trivista Pictura uses a touchscreen and included touch remote with two heating levels. Amantii's Panorama BI XtraSlim ships with a single remote for flame and heater and is thermostat hardwire-ready; Panorama BI Deep, SYMMETRY Bespoke and TruView Bespoke add WiFi app control, programmable timers, and a thermostatic remote. TruView Bespoke and SYMMETRY Bespoke also add Bluetooth connectivity, and SYMMETRY Bespoke supports a 7-day preset schedule.
Three-sided options
Napoleon covers three-sided viewing with Trivista Primis (9.50 in deep, end panels included for 1, 2 or 3-sided installation) and Trivista Pictura (a shallower 6.50 in wall-hanging profile), and Astound FlexMount adds a flexible 1, 2 or 3-sided option at 7 to 7.5 inches deep. Amantii's three-sided line here is TruView Bespoke, which Amantii describes as modular, meaning multiple units can be connected together for a longer continuous three-sided run, with a published 20-inch glass viewing height. For a closer look at how three-sided units differ from single-sided ones generally, see Hogarazo's see-through and three-sided electric fireplace guide.
Warranty
Napoleon's warranty length varies by series on its own spec sheets: 1-year limited on Trivista Pictura, 2-year limited on Trivista Primis and Entice, 3-year limited on Astound FlexMount, and 5-year limited on Astound Built-In and SlimMount. Amantii's warranty structure is simpler across the four lines here: Panorama BI XtraSlim and Panorama BI Deep carry a two-year manufacturer warranty, while the Bespoke lines, SYMMETRY Bespoke and TruView Bespoke, carry a five-year manufacturer parts warranty. On every Amantii or Sierra Flame unit Hogarazo sells, the warranty is handled directly with the manufacturer, with Hogarazo as the single point of contact if a claim comes up.
Where each is sold
Napoleon fireplaces are sold through Napoleon's own network of authorized dealers. Napoleon publishes its own pricing and dealer locator. Amantii units at Hogarazo ship from the Amantii warehouse in Iowa to all 48 contiguous states, with curbside liftgate delivery included on every unit and in-stock units typically reaching the curb in 5 to 10 business days. Prices on hogarazo.com are the manufacturers' advertised prices: Panorama BI XtraSlim starts at $1,499, Panorama BI Deep starts at $3,199, SYMMETRY Bespoke starts at $2,299, and TruView Bespoke starts at $3,399, with the final price depending on width.
Who each brand suits
Astound is specified in three mounting styles within one series: a frameless or trim-finished Built-In, a flexible 1-2-3-sided FlexMount, and a SlimMount that frames into 4 inches, all rated at the same 10,000 BTU / 3 kW ceiling, plus Google Home and Alexa voice control.
Amantii's advantage in this comparison is width range and warranty length on its Bespoke lines. SYMMETRY Bespoke runs from 34 to 100 inches in one series, wider than Entice's 36 to 72 inch range, and both SYMMETRY Bespoke and TruView Bespoke carry a five-year manufacturer parts warranty against Napoleon's 1 to 3-year terms on the comparable Trivista lines. TruView Bespoke's modular three-sided design is also a different approach from Napoleon's fixed-width Trivista panels if you are trying to run a three-sided fireplace longer than 60 inches.
Neither brand is the automatic answer. The right call comes down to your rough opening, your available circuit (120V plug-in versus a 240V hardwire run), and whether you need a fixed single width or a modular multi-unit run.
